Volunteers are a vital part of making WordCamp Singapore great. You’ll be helping to make our event run as smoothly as possible, ensuring that a great time is had by all. It’s also a great way to get more involved with the WordPress community!
If you’re interested in volunteering, please read the information below, and let us know how you’d like to help out in the contact form at the bottom of this page. Volunteer roles will be assigned as the event draws closer.
We are working on getting as many volunteers as possible so that volunteers will work in small shifts. We want our volunteers to be able to attend some talks that they’re interested in. (This will depend on the number of volunteers we get for each role.)
As a treasured volunteer, you will be able to:
- Be an essential part of the event on the actual day
- Spend quality time with the WordCamp Singapore organising committee
- Have the opportunity to meet speakers from all over the world
- Be on the ground, meeting WordCamp attendees from all over the world
- Free entry to the event, a T-shirt, and entry to the afterparty
- Not to mention invaluable experience running a conference alongside fellow volunteers, organisers, speakers and sponsors
